clear rear indicator lights?

how do u make them clear as i noticed in a video that someone has done it. or would i have to buy a new light unit? thanks steve

you need to get a set of lenses from another set of lights, and mount them in to your lights.

I have always liked the idea of having all clear lights, indicators, brake fog. But you would have to rip apart 3 sets and buy coloured bulbs.

yeah you have to get another set of lights and use the reverse lense.

That's handy to know. Was going to get Jon to refurb and facelift my headlights at some point, might as well get him to do the lot in one hit.

they won't be that cheap though as they are made up from 2xpairs of uk spec rears and 2x pairs of j-spec rears.

failing that i can always just do the clear indicator mod?

J spec... doesnt matter for the conversion though

I'll have them Rob, as long as the Drivers side one is in excellent condition, I converted mine a few years back, but the outer lense is starting to craze so want to change it.

but like my LED rear lights, they wont be road legal. no reflectors.
