HELL YA... Mde it fit :) But only just.. Can this be a problem later on??? Look at the 3 last pic´s

Just picked of my new turbo from the post office, and tried it with my manifold, and alll the other part´s. All the other parts fit´s like a glowe, but it just dosent fit the manifold :(

As you can see on these pictures it´s the turbine house that hit´s one of the pipe´s... What do I do?

Just make 15mm T4 flange and put in between or?? :search:

If I twist it don´t you think I will get a nasty 90 turn on the pipework? And propperly get trouble fitting the pipework to the IC?

Pete I hope you're not installing this yourself?

Not all by my self.. Some of my friends have done it for them selvf on thir supras. But Ive only installed some supercgargers on some Golf´s and Polo´s, ao im preatty new in installing turbo´s. But don´t (hope not) think it will couse me that mutch trouble!!

I have a little expereince with this...

You will find that you need to rotate the compressor housing and it *should* clear. You might also need to remove the front support bar from the manifold as this will most likely block your oil drain.

I think he means a pic of the wastegate port from inside the manifold as I read a thread on here about a very inadequately built manifold where the hole for the wastegate was tiny and caused big problems with boost levels. I think it actually caused engine failure from what I remember.

About the spinning of the turbo housing it will be fine. I did it with mine because of the exact same problem. It is easier to adapt the intercooler piping if needed than to get sandwich plates etc made up. Also if you raise the height of the turbo you run the risk of your downpipe not clearing the chassis/bulkhead as it will be raised too. If you are getting a custom downpipe made then that obviously solves the problem though.

Mayme he still has the pictures so we can compere??

BTW.. This is a "low" budget project, so im cutting some cornes. I know some people might say " Then don´t do it ect.. But my goal is just to make it work, ofcouse with an okay resoult, do it my self, and have fun doing it! This is still better then buying a complete XS power kit, and the parts has only been aprox 400£ more expencive, I think my total cost right now is around 1300£ and "only" need the ECU!
