Fifty Posted August 17, 2007 Share Posted August 17, 2007 I worry about my car sometimes got me thinking , does anyone here consider theyre car to be mechanically perfect or as new. seems many converted cars have real issues eg single turbo conversions and most cars are getting on; mine just passed 100k last week, and is 13 years old now Still starts first time, doesnt smoke, except a liitle on start up every now and then. But what about all the other bushes, rods, alignment and other bits and bobs how can you really be on top of everything without spending a fortune? DaveK Posted August 17, 2007 Share Posted August 17, 2007 Although I'm sure things are wearing out, I do consider mine pretty much mechanically perfect. The folding mirrors don't work - the driver side started playing up and I disconnected the switch. Apart from that, I'm not aware there is anything wrong with it.
