koyo radiator advice

hi there, waiting for my new radiator to be delivered and was wondering if there is anything i need to be aware of when fitting it,

 

i also bought a sx power fmic and the same question for that if any one has advice

You will need a new rad cap as the Koyo is a different fitment. There are basically two types of rad cap, the smaller normal Supra one and a bigger one as used on Nissans. Here's a pic nicked from an ebay listing that shows the difference:

Type A is the normal Supra one, type B the one you need for the Koyo.

I formed a 'plug' that sits between each using expanding foam wrapped in a polly sheet. Provides a perfect seal so that all flow entering the nosecone is forced through the fmic, then rad. Works well, infact my thermo switched electric fans aren't needed above 40 mph.
