5K for a Facelift TT...........

Is this too much, too little?

Its for a 96 TT its a CAT D but very well repaired, only an eagle eye would be able to tell its had a fight. The outside is very clean the inside needs a good valet. The engine is very sweet, no blue smoke or rattles etc.

Its standard apart from a set of 18" wheels.

Thoughts?

the CAT D would hit the price fairly hard whether you can tell or not, and if you can even notice in the slightest then it'll push the price down further.

Is it an auto or manual?

From my previous searches for a supra, the mileage appears to be one of the biggest issues - people don't seem to want to touch a TT with around 100k so that affects price - whats yours?

Its an auto, Silver with 76 or 77K.

You can only tell by one side of the tailgate been slightly and i mean slighly out of line.

i'd steer clear of it to be honest mate and find one that's 100%.

5k is still too much in my opinion for that car.

Far too dear, you can buy a superb undamaged one for that, possibly less. There are some nice cars going through the import auctions for very little money these days.

Am I being too optimistic with my search?

I'm looking for a Facelift TT Auto, would prefer tottally standard on the outside with only mods done like a pipe filter etc just basic stuff for around 8 to 8.5K oh yes would prefer Silver,gunmetal or blue, but i have seen a lovely red one but slightly out of my price range and it wasn't a facelift, but i would consider a non facelift if the car was right.
