washer bottle leak

Hey all,

Washer bottle - every time i fill it up it just leaks out all over the place, the only thing it's not the best place that you can see where the leak is coming from, So any one got any ideas or ways that i can take it out or even some way that i can get to it so i can have a good look and maybe seal it up or get a new one??? ?

could be the pump i think mate i'm afraid.

check all the hoses first and check where the water is going. all else fails you'll need to remove the wheel and arch liner and take a look at the pump (i think).

do a search, sure there's thread on this already.

Is the upper part actually pushed into the reservoir below or does the water just go straight into the wing and pour out?

Easy enough to check, unbolt the filler pipe from the engine bay (one bolt) and pull the plastic pipe out along with the long black level indicator thing - then refit it and make sure it slots tightly into the lower portion.

If it's not this it might be worth checking the pipework, take the wheel off and remove the arch liner.

Does it hold any water at all or do you get a puddle as soon as you try and fill it?

it does hold abit and i mean abit.. its the not the pump tho because when i fill it so far thats when it just leaks out and comes from under neath.

i no its got to have some think to to with the bottle it self, - i no its only the washer - windscreen water but i just want every think working and it just running and looking the way the supra does lol.

is there no way i can get to the bottle and take it out??

the bottle is by the pump i think mate, only way to it is by removing the wheel/arch liner.

Get the passenger arch off and have a look. I think that the filler neck isn't fitted properly and you are not getting the water flowing in to the bottle.
