The next reading meet Near the Madejski stadium reading j11 m4
Will be in theBandQ car park to the right of the comet car park.(doesnt close at 9pm)

Unfortunately, she's in the US studying at some research lab (the place that made the first US atom bombs - quality place).. I think I've just forgotten how to make decisions without her 'assistance' :D
My woeful ability to plan time (as you've no doubt seen by the amount of meets I've said I'll go to and missed) is a fairly decisive factor.. I won't know until it's started if I'm going to make it or not :)
So, I'll try and get to this meet.. but I'm not going to make any more promises, because I know what I'm like :)

I dont have a supra I just organise the meet but I do own a trainee supra(200sx)and love the supra in all ways RWD rules:D
So whos gonna take me for a spin in theres so i can see just how good they are?

millhouse, you said about Winchester being easiest place to meet for you, do you wanna meet at the Services or is that to far up the M3? I can't remember, plus what time you looking at getting there?
would it be worht all meeting at a differnt place first and then turing up on mass ... has a bit of an impact and makes sure we all park in the same place !

Damn good idea, convoy in would be great. I have no idea about Reading or it's layout so if anyone has any suggestions for a meeting place........stick 'em on the table :)

I take it that J9 is the Winchester Services? Will probably need a refill by tomorrow. Not sure what time I can get there for, I'll aim for 6 but getting up the Avenue in the evening onto the M3 is a right pain in the arse. I'll see if I can get away at 5.

Hmm...what time indeed, very good question, if I can make it to J9 - M3 at 6.00 and it should only take about 10 - 15 mins to meet Ashley at J6 then we [three kings] should be there about 7 ish - depending on traffic.

Well there will be me, plus I'll chuck one in millhouses car when I meet him at Winnal services. GreenSupra mentioned he'd bring his along and also Pulse has some as well so at least 5 or 6 of us.
Those BT Freeway units take 16 hours to charge up first time :eek:

HI Guys just got back from the Reading meet.Agood turn out,lots of nice cars and people.Whose idea was it to pick a bloody cold evening in October??

Unfortunately it was a copper!!
But he was good about it and just wanted to check the car wasnt stolen.

Also there was a silver j-spec that turned up outta the blue, again didn't get to speak and you left early before we got moved to PC World!!
Had a great play with a 200zx on the way back down along the M3 until some tosser almost caused an accident as he went from the middle lane to the outside lane with nothing in front of him :eek: Luckily the 200 managed to haul up in time then he moved outta the way. Got the thumbs up from him as I broke off onto the M27 :) :thumbs:
Some great cars there, plus a monster truck which somehow Luke from GreenSupra's car managed to miss as they entered the PC World car park.....what was that you were smoking?? ;) :innocent:
Bloody cold night, glad I took my coat along!
Oh and highlight of the evening is Scooter saying "glad I've got a rare coloured car blah blah blah...." what drives into the carpark but a RSP TT owned by Chilli Boy along with mini motorbike in rear seat!! Scooter saying "it's ok it's gonna be an auto...sure to be an auto.....BOLLOXS it's a MANUAL! - I DONT BELEIVE IT!!!" :D :D

Just got home, by way of Tesco for a sandwich. Damn getting moved on from B&Q, they had multiple food options and I ended up with none. Bah!
An interesting cross selection of cars there tonight, but a lot of 'racer' style ones. The Supras stole the show, but to be fair I didn't really look anywhere else ;) That Ferrari wasn't bad though.
Nice to talk (albeit very briefly) to Mandy and to Peter, hope your baby gets well soon :)
A decent turn out in the end, 10 I think (including Pete's Lexus as an honourary Supe given the circumstances), with one leaving before the end of B&Q and one arriving at PC World.
May or may not see many of you at POD on the weekend depending if I can get there. Next time I'll bring a heater :)

I turned up outta the blue coz i couldnt find the dam petrol station !!.......i spent 25 mins driving round in circles.
luckely just as i was going to give up .......the convoy turned in to the car park so i just latched on and folloed round.
Sorry didnt get chance to chat to many of you.
Had to leave early to go and pick up the girlfriend.

Ah ha....well glad to see you weren't the only one having trouble finding the station, we had to get directions from a bloke who pointed us in the right direction. Bloody Shell station is hidden away from the main road :eek: :(

i did come along to pc world i parked in the same row as the 4 wheel drive monster truck thing how can anyone miss that
we didnt walk around much as we had a lot of interest in my boot build and i kept running the heater in the car to keep warm great turn out

These kind of events are great fun, coz they just kind of happen with not much planning...bit like something out of a street racing scene in 2 Fast 2 Furious.. so many different Jap cars from Pulsars to Evo's...even the FTO's were there.
Some odd ones too Toyota Monster truck (as Mandy said) Mk1 Escort Mexico (i think) a Saxo VTS with 6 Exhaust pipes, a Ferrari 355 and even an MGF ( 'hoping to appear in a movie called '2 Gai 2 Fabulous' I guess)

highlight of the event ..... had to be the respect and admiration from everyone else. Everywhere I wondered I kept hearnig people say 'ohh theres some supra's over ther mmmm'
lowlight of th event ... the silly bugger that drove into me bum on the way down. No damage though ..

It was very nimble but after going out in the sister car of ronnie rockets car 10 mins earler 710bhp skyline it seemed slow.

Glad that I made the 100+ mile round trip in the freezing cold... no seriously, it was a good night and nice to put a few faces/cars to names.
If it wasn't for plod, we would have run the mini-moto a bit more, but theyre not usually too impressed with it. Will have to get my mate to let me bring it to other meets.
All being well, I will be making it up to the pod this sunday.... along with the silver Civic with carbon bonnet and black type-r accord.
Might see some of you sunday then....

Your new wheels certainly look nice as well, gonna have to think about getting some soon although I wanna leave the major spending till next year. I have to get my credit cards back under control!! Fuel bill next statement is gonna be horrendous :eek:
