how many miles should a twin turbo supra last for???

Between 20k and 300k is about the average :D (I know of a 24k mile car that blew its engine and a 300k+ car that is still going).

Everything depends on the way it's been serviced, the modifications (if any) and the way it's been driven.

Define "last", are we talking about drive to and pass an MOT, or are we talking about operating like new....

Talk about a "how long is a piece of string" question :D

My engine lasted 55k miles (3000 miles at BPU). I feel that was down to mis-use in Japan though TBH as the coolant system gave up quite impressively. It all depends on who looks after the car and how they choose to do it. Using decent disposables really does help. Also, lets just say I don't drive my cars forgivingly!

I've also seen Supras on 200k so you takes your money...

It does make me laugh when you see a kid on Supraforums with a car that has 175k on the clock THEN puts a GT47-something or other turbocharger and it continous to run as an every day car for thousands of miles.

If you look on Supraforums there's a hell of a lot of original unopened engines past 200k. In one particular thread a youngster commented he'd had 4 supras and the lowest milage any of them had at purchase was 160k.
