I've started refurbing my old wheels and was wondering what colour to do them. I was thinking about polishing the face of the spokes then doing black on the side of the spokes and black on the inside rim too. Or just thinking about painting them silver.

Here's one where i polished the face, havent painted the sides of the spokes or inside yet but gives you an idea. Maby a bit bling?

A nice idea would be polished or silver(for easier maintenance) fronts of spokes, black edging to the spokes and where it is blue in the background make it gloss black.... keeping the polished writing:)

Btw how did you polish them up so good...?

Yeah that was the idea mate. I was going to do a gloss black on the side of the spokes and i was going to do the blue bit in a satin Black, keeping the writing silver.

To polish it i just spent the last 3 months in the garage :p. I just took all the paint off, sanded them back till they were smooth (took ages) then wet and dried, and then just polished them up using a polishing kit, actually all of it took ages

Ahh right, good effort there mate defiantly like that idea of the black and polished, however gunmetal is always a temping wheel colour, but why would you want to cover up all that hard work polishing..?;)

Yeah i just wanted to see what they would look like really, and i like the idea. After having them on the car a few weeks i'll probably be selling them anyway as i have my new wheels
