Due to our original pub choice being fully booked we have changed venues. We will now be meeting at The Mill House any time after 2pm.The pub is expecting us and we have reserved space for 20 in the name of mawby.

Chippenham 1st probably but depends on when it starts, if its in the day then that 1st and onto tatsu and that should save having to rush about.

I'm ok with the Lysley Arms bit, it was just the 'Tatsu event in Bath' that had me confused. I'll keep in simple and go direct I reckon.

Sorry mate. this was in response to someone asking where we could start a convoy from for those coming from Bristol. I live in Bath and there is another event in Bath the same day, so it seemed to make sense.

Did you know that the Boys from County Hell are now playing at the Lysley Arms tomorrow after there other venue failed. They are starting at 4pm and there are over 1,000 expected probably more like 2,000. Camping on site also - does the Lysley know we are coming? May be a bit crowded!!

We haven't told them we are coming as they have a huge car park and there is only a handful of us really.... but there's no way 2000 + us will fit in there.

This has been on the news and it may change yet again but it is not worth the risk. I have the source from the band member but they have changed three times now due to a licence. Probably best to ring the Lysley? Where is the Mill House - by Sainsburys?

Sorry, I have just spoken to the band member - 9.30pm tonight and the whole gig (boys from COunty Hell) is cancelled (much to their disgust) due to the Police, so we can - if possible again - meet at the Lysley which is a far better venue. Sorry guys but I am only reliant on what I am told and I do live in the vicinity. Sad Day for them (if you know of them) and Great Ormond Street. Regards

First the Tatsu event, then over to Chippenham. Hope the Chippenham meet can become a regular thing, good access from Wilts, Bristol & Reading etc as well as those 5 mins up the road. Cheers Tigger for getting this set up :thumbs:

Came back a different way via M4 to Swindon then up via Burford on the A361. Fell in love with my car all over again. :love:
Forgot to ask, who was it that took the in car vid? It was one of the folks that went on to the Weston BBQ. Would like to see that as it had some vid of a 3rd gear drift :D

The pub have said they are normally empty Saturday afternoons and welcome us having a regular meet there.
Tigger is going to try and organise a monthly meet there on the 2nd Saturday of the month.

Soo and I spoke to the manager and we have agreed for a regular monthly meet. This will be held every second Saturday of the month. Next being October 13th at 2pm. :OK:I will start another thread for this and add it to the calendar.

Twas me that took the vid! And edge has a copy although its a nighmare to get it to play if you don't have the software. I have converted it into a friendly WMV if you can't play it.
Nice to meet a few people on the forum - sorry we weren't there for too long, was a busy day with so many places to go in one day but if you make it monthly I will be a loyal attendee!
Maybe someone could bring a ticket booth along so people can buy tickets for a ride in Homer's single. Just to make it an official attraction? :D
