Pete
I wonder why they felt the need to put the word Toyota on the rear left of the UK cars? Perhaps it was a marketing thing where people didn't recognise the badge in the UK? It's similar to the thinking of why they thought they'd write Turbo after Supra on the US models? Ian R
Ahh that will be because every in the UK ask's who makes that car. In the US Turbo was put on the back because they like to shout about how great everything is

Bobbeh
Think you're right there Pete, that badge was introduced around 1992 iirc and they all used to have a 'Toyota' logo prior to that.

michael
I wonder why they felt the need to put the word Toyota on the rear left of the UK cars? This isn't found on all UK Supras, it's that kind of inconsistency that gets me wondering about the mentality of Mr T.
