Anyone over this way got a tool for holding the crank pulley whilst undoing the pulley bolt?? :search:If so could I borrow it for a while? If not, I'll get one made up. Homer
Starter method is easiest mate, I borrowed Jakes homemade tool and couldn't get the bolt undone. It came off first go with the starter method.
SUPRASUZUKI
Cheers Homer. Starter sounds ok for undoing the bolt, but how do you hold the pulley when tightening the bolt?
SUPRASUZUKI
I've made a tool for holding the damper. If anyone wants the details let me know. I sprayed the bolt with freeze n release a few times over the last few days and the bolt came undone no prob's using a 3ft breaker bar (lucky git?). The handle fits nicely under the anti roll bar mount on the chassis. Also made a simple puller to draw the pulley off the crank. Ignore the 'welding' as it's not my strong point:innocent:
