im taking my car back down to turbotfit / knight racer on sat for the final tweeks and im wondering whether i should have my carbon bonnet sprayed the same colour as the rest of the car while im there?!:search:

 

really not sure cos if i prefer it carbon after its sprayed im buggered! any thoughts?!

Can you not get some sort of part respray/part lacquer over carbon done as a compromise so it's not such an expanse of C/fibre.

 

I thought bout doing this to my c/f hood if i ever get round to getting the car painted as i don't wanna lose all the c/f weave otherwise i might as well have got a cheaper frp one!:)

Is the paint a clear candy concentrate or a solid colur? If it's a clear candy you could overlay the carbon with it and it would shine the same colour as the rest of the car. That's what I did with mine, although when it's dark it kinda looks like badly matched panels until you get close.
