garethr
Possibly not. The J-spec Soarer V8 has smaller brakes than the Soarer TT, and (AFAIK) the Soarer TT brakes are the same as the J-spec Supra (and Aristo / GS300). Although they do say it's for the N/A Supra, and aren't all the sliding calipers the same? EDIT: Searched through my files.... I think that the Soarer TT / Supra / GS300 / Aristo calipers have 44.4 mm pistons and 32V cast into them, and the V8 Soarer / Mk1 LS400 calipers have 42.8 mm pistons and 28V cast into them. turbonut
Is it not possible to get the calipers refurbed?? sure I read that somewhere.... L
JonW
It is but my knowledge of these things and my access the tools is limited, thought it might be easier to just get another caliper.
turbonut
tbh Jon, you'll need various tools to fit new calipers anyway. Have you tried getting a quote for a refurb? I don't know anyone in your area but there must be some jap friendly garages there abouts
