chilly
I had my 2nd Cat removed today at Envy. Jesus is it loud when dropping the right foot!! It sounds really throaty and burbles nicely on idle.
SuperSupraNA
Yeah I've got a double decat, not too loud, and no noise at all once its warm and idle, which is good imo. Colby resonators work well

Missile
Thought the N/A performed better with one of the two cats left on. Can't remember which one. Was told that by a trader down bristol way. suprastore i think. Any ideas ?
hoff
Its a myth, apparantly. I'll still have my 1st in. That will be gone soon also so I'll let you know.
chilly
Thought the N/A performed better with one of the two cats left on. Can't remember which one. Was told that by a trader down bristol way. suprastore i think. Any ideas ? It does feel a bit more responsive, but that could be mind games with the extra noise. The 1st Cat is shagged on mine, so I won't know the full benefit until I replace that. Having looked at previous threads on decatting an n/a there seems to be very limited gains. The reason I replaced mine was cos the 2nd cat was knackered and a decat was the cheaper option. Maybe some Techy member might have more of an idea of any gains? hoff
If it does lose anything I doubt it'll be noticable. And the added noise will compansate:)
