Quiet exhaust?

If anyone plans track days they NEED to consider noise very carefully, save the odd and expansive "noisy days" you'll find it a nightmare running most aftermarket systems on a MKIV, especially on a single turbo, even more so one with cams and a big turbo exhaust housing.

 

Mine has obviously a big turbo and 272 camms.. dont really feel its a real interferance.. but im not really sure the make and quality of my exhaust though...

I want it queit on tickover and cruising, when im going for it the screamer pipe is open and nice and loud again, basicly i live in a very quiet little village now and when cruising i want it quiet.:)

 

I think you'd quiet like my exhaust then.. ill see if i can find out what it is.. it looks v.well made... it can be nice and quiet on crusing and tickover...

MattC has a GT35R with an Apexi evo n1 it is very quiet until the screamer pipe gets involved.:)

As CW says the Tanabe medallion touring is very quiet.......do a search on here cause there is a sound clip of it in action
