View Full Version : V pro datalogging
As the owner of a V pro I'd really like the ability to take some datalogs.
I understand HKS's reluctance to trade in writer softwear, but does any shareware exist so owners can take datalogs from their cars?
Also - I have an HKS knock amp, but I cannot find an instruction manual anywhere on the net for the unit. can you point me in the right direction please?
cheers!

Mike,
You need the Fcon software to access and read the datalogging plus you need to run a trigger switch to activate and clear the memory too. Only your tuner can see the logging if its activated.
As for the Knock Amp, English instructions are available from the HKS dealer you bought it from, the should supply it to you if they are a real HKS dealer as they will have it so try there first :)
Cheers

Hi Andy, thanks for the post, it's apprecicated. I've sent a lot of mails to HKS agents in the UK and not had anything back. The unit was bought after the car was built, and was mapped by Reg Reimer rcts canada, he's not so local!
I'm very happy with the way it runs, but maintain that I would like to datalog it, just to see get a more detailed picture of what is happeneing. trying to keep your eye on everything while putting 500+ bhp through the back wheels is tricky on public roads.
so no generic datalogging possible for owners then I guess...? shame.. it's not as if we can break into the maps to do the tuners out of a job, just seems a little petty not to give owners this ability.
Andy I hope you don't mind me posting here.
Mike I have attached an English copy of the HKS Knock Amp instructions.
Thanks sincerely Nic.. that was really good of you.
