remove auto knob

any one know how with out breaking it ? i am trying to get to the insides to change the bulb for an LED

the actual knob? it has a screw at the bottom behind the black plastice part, and lift off it is that simple.

what LED are you replacing out of interest? Is it the one that illuminates the P,R,N,D etc..? If so I'd be interested in how this is done as mine no longer light up :(

dont actually need to remove the knob toget to the bulb i cant find that screw BTW bulb is just a twist and pul to get it out

If you still need to remove the actual gear knob, look at the base of it, and you'll see there's a black plastic trim. This trim, needs 'carefully' prising downwards. Once you've done that, you should be able to see the securing screw.
