Not the Supra thank God, but the Mrs Mondeo.
When i plug my pda into it it says its on charge, But the charge level still drops. It charges up in the supra.

Is there anyway to test the socket output?

Stick a DVM on it mate, should be 13+ when the engines running and around the 12+ when not.

I have exactly same problem!!! lol........used my PDA in my run about.....says its got power, but its obviously not enough as when i got to destination PDA was on 7% battery after using GPS!.

Its definately outputting +13v when engine running (Had DVM on it). Not tried this in the Supra.

think you may find you need to replace your PDA battery, as i just had this problem, wouldnt last at all long on battery, but when charging it it says it charging and says battery is charged, then go back to it next day and i get a reminder that battery needs charging, plus i also had a problem on the pda that tom tom was locking up and a software issue with it thinking i was always wanting to go into calender!, changed the battery and not had one problem with my pda since, tom tom works everytime, and not had one lock up, and aslo pda works fine, not software issues, only a tenner off ebay too.. :)

Thats the odd thing my battery is holding charge etc, but still the battery discharges very slowly when powered and docked to the in car charger thingy. MOST wierd!.

It ran for 4 hours solid (FULL backlight on!) with GPS on etc etc, during my trip.....but was on 7% battery when i undocked it. It wouldnt normally last 3 hours even with the backlight off and GPS on.

Yep, holds charge ok in Desktop charger and when plugged into the Soop, but in the Mondeo, slowly discharges..
