Guest Avve
Hi, has anyone successfully road raced a Supra TT with an auto-box (club race, not national competition)? Will I be the only one? Will I be laughed at? Oh boy...

Class One
No reason why not but you may want to invest in extra transmission cooling for the box and perhaps consider a PAS cooler as well.
Kranz
Modify the box for faster changes by upping the pressure, remove the trac control butterfly, cooling (as Class One said) & a Spal fan and perhaps synthetic ATF. This will increase the performance and ensure the box survives a little longer
carl0s
Is road racing different to track racing? (sorry for asking what is probably a daft question). I think the autobox is fine for track stuff.. you don't change gear all that much anyway. Chris Wilson says he was very fond of his old auto Supra on trackdays.
