MOT Advisory - Tie bar/rod play

Ok hopefully this will clear this up. His description over the phone was

'It's the part the fits between the track rod end and the steering rack, sometime called a tie bar or tie rod'.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Jon

Trust me I wont be attempting this myself I am happy to admit that I am incompetent when it comes to mechanics. Changing brake pads is about my limit:-)

I was just wondering if anyone here sold them new for a better price than Toyota. I guess it's not really the sort of thing that people keep in stock.
