Carbon fiber Radiator fan shroud?

you made a good job on that, how do you avoid creases in the fibre when covering the corners etc

Coated the intake in some black contact adhesive and then let it go off a little, cut the Carbon cloth over size and lay it on. With the corners the cloth is very workable when dry and will adapt to corners etc very well.

Afterwards you let dry a little and then roller clear resin over it. This is the problem part of the job, it takes a build up of around 4 to 5 coats and then you need to spend ages smoothing it off without going back down to the carbon cloth!

I might look into getting molds made for the shroud if there is enough interest.

yea pleas do otherwise i will buy it from this guy he emailed me back stating its an original one

"It is a stand alone piece made of real carbon fiber. Also, yes we ship to the UK, I'd have to check shipping on it but probably about $50-70 more with insurance.
