My wheel took a liking to a nice big Kurb.

Well infact i was going round a round about, And a lorry decided he had the time to pull out, Im thinkin he did not see me, It was the lorry or the kerb i was going to hit, So Kerb it was.

Annoyingly the lorry carried on driving and as my tyre popped i could not catch up to get a Number plate or even a company name.

Could get in contact with my insurence, but taking to my local alloy refurb place (Spit and polish) first, Will be amazed if they can fix it.

Least the front end is not stoved in.

Anyone now where i can locate an ssr 5 spoke ally wheel from ?

sorry to hear this buddy. Lorry drivers think they own the road, better hitting a kurb though and damaging one alloy than hitting the lorry and god knows what damage.

Exactly what i thought.

Running two std wheels on the front and two blacks on the back.

Police checked my rears yestaday, They thought i'd put diff ones on to burn out.

I would have gone for the lorry and his insurance company could pay for the repairs. However I do have a buggered nose cone at the mo so wouldnt make too much of a difference

I half wish i had. But even though i was not travelling all that fast im sure the lorry would have argued somthing.

Oh well.
