CardiffSupra
Right, can someone clear something up for me, How hot should my brakes get? Just took it for a blast down the M4 and when I got back the fronts were as hot as an iron, The backs were hot but not so hot that your spit would bubble. I jacked the car up and the fronts are catching a little but not enough to slow the wheel down. Is there something wrong or am i just been paranoid? Cheers. Sheefa
Mine get pretty damn ghot mate but after about 30minutes are fine to touch after a good long run. Are they actually glowing?? OEM disks I take it too?
CardiffSupra
Thats good to know. No they do not glow but i used to be able to smell them burning before the refurb. OEM disks yes, I think all is well then, Thanks both.
Sheefa
It's when you go on track days and find you're j-specs are actually on fire that you have to worry mate!! A good set of pads of course helps too. I have the CW Fast Road Pads and they're magic. Good man.

I have some blue things on mine (dont know the make) but there poor until they warm up then they are fine. When they are hot and loose the ability to stop the car they recover in just a few seconds and off i go again.
