Homer Posted July 2, 2007 Share Posted July 2, 2007 This is a reminder to all members of the club that only Authorised traders my trade via PM. In the past week we have detected at least one trader who has been advertising products via the PM system, many of you will know him as Ken from Hong Kong (aka Kinway Motorsports). He has been using the username JohnnySupra and been contacting members offering TRD parts for sale via the Kinway website. However, what is concerning is the fact it took almost 6 months until someone reported this activity. This account is now banned, but we need the help of all of you in order to detect these rogue traders in future. If anyone is contacted by PM advertising Kinway Motorsports (or any other non-authorised trader) offering goods for sale please report it to a moderator. His tactic is to spot group buys, and then contact members via pm stating that he can do the items in the group buy at a cheaper price. EDIT to add, that if anyone things they're getting the real deal genuine TRD item from this chap, then think again. They're cheaply made copies. From the PM that was forwarded to us the language & phases used are almost an exact match for his previous posts & messages.
