Pete
Get a decat pipe, far cheaper I imagine. The 2nd pipe does most of the work and will get you through MOT if required.
luke marshall
i got no 2nd pipe but mot not a problem as my old man got a garage that will sort it, will it run ok with no cats at all?
Missile
Good question. I always thought on the N/A you needed one to create a good back presure. But saying that i thought you could keep the 1st and loose the second. Ummm :search:
hoff
Im losing the 2nd cat from my NA soon. I think it will need to go back in for the mot. If you go for a 2.5 inch pipe you should be fine.
ultra_supra
i've got a manifold comin which replaces the 1st cat -makin it straight thru, MOT's won't be a problem for me but have been told it will be VERY loud so may get a muffler on it
hoff
Im tempted to book my MOT early and try it without the 2nd decat. If it fails I'll slap it back on and do it again. But I guess that'll be a silly way of losing £40.
