View Full Version : bt hub phone-can't hear incoming calls
recently got BT Broadband Talk with Home hub and phone. I can hear people if I phone them, but can't hear them if they phone me, any thoughts?
recently got BT Home hub
Throw it in the bin.
Took delivery of mine this morning... Not sure if im gonna bother installing it as my current wireless router works fine. Can the home hub phone be used as a normal phone or is it just for internet calls?
I only use mine cause its free evening and weekend calls.
Sorry cant help with the problem. Mine works fine
Is there a microfilter involved?
Is there anything on the phone like a slide or turn button with number on it?
any thoughts?
Ring BT, this is a Supra forum :)
Ignore grumpy, loads of IT people here that might be able to help.

Don't. It really is a piece of crap. Mine can only get a signal wirelessly if the receiving computer is within 2 inches of it. It drops it's connection all the time too.

Thanks for the feedback mate, guess i'll just chuck it in cupboard and forget about it...

I'm not being grumpy, it just seems to make more sense to call BT if some brand new equipment they have delivered isn't working as it should be.
We can all make generic suggestions but BT might be able to give more specific help and replace the hardware if necessary.
It does make sense indeed but maybe he's at work and thought he'd try here first or something... plus people ask loads of non supra related stuff here :p
