Just letting you all know that if you are travelling to the Toddington Mega Convoy from the south ALLOW yourselves some extra time to get there as the M1 will be closed between Junction 8-9 from Saturday night till Sunday morning & re-opening at 9am. So please leave at little extra earlier to avoid congestion as we all need to be there between 7.30-8.15 to collect passes & convoy will be leaving to Santa Pod at 8.30 SHARP. Details from the Highway Acency Below: Saturday 23rd June: The M1 will be closed in both directions between Junctions 8 and Junction 9 from 21:00hrs 23rd June to 09:00hrs 24th June 2007. During the above closure all M1 northbound traffic will be diverted off the M1 at Junction 8 and follow the signed diversion route via A414, Maylands Avenue, B487, A5183 and rejoin the M1 at Junction 9. All M1 southbound traffic will be diverted off the M1 at Junction 9 and follow the same diversion route and rejoin the M1 at Junction 8. The above closures are required for bridge demolition.
