lucasl
So ive got 285 40 18 rear tyres and have just got my 255 40 18 fronts, im debating now to change the fronts to 255 45 18 so the tyre is similar size to rears. do you think i should change or will the 40 a/r be ok? supracharged
i have 275 35 R18 on the rear and 245 40 R18 on the front. i beleive from research and my own calculations that this is the closest to stock rolling radius for 18s. not sure how much difference the extra 5mm will make though

That's correct. You should be changing the rears down to 35 rather than increasing the fronts.
lucasl
yea i would have prefered to get 35 rears but the price of the 40 rears was to good to refuse i guess il keep it like that then replace the rears to 35 when i need new tyres
