ooh ooh ooh...new drag race venue in the south

been asked to pass on details of a new venue/event which is a 1/4m drag
weekend, in hampshire, on 6th and 7th september. i know it clashes with trax
at silverstone on the 7th, but wondered if you would pass it on anyway to
people/groups who may be interested in either or both days. event will run
for both days anyway so a good turn out appreciated. bikes/cars welcome.

its the first time this ex RAF venue has been used i'm told for cars, and a
good response this time should se it being used again next year for drag
events, which there arent many of in the region.

venue;
Baker Barracks, Thorney Island, Emswell, Hampshire.

cost is £25 per car to race all day, full staging lights and 1/4m timing in
use, head to head. open to anyone to compete. spectators in competing cars
only tho' im told. 10am start.

I can't make it as I'm going to the FIA European Finals at Santa Pod that weekend, but it might be a good venue for a future meet if the price isn't too high.

Was a good day, good to meet you all (again).

Good value for money too, as many runs as you wanted and never more than a 5 min wait for your turn down the strip.

I will get better times!!!

Best today was after everyone went home, 14.01 @105, 0.04 faster than I managed at pod!
