ShamelessTT
My new UK brake setup arrived this morning!. Steve Manley @ toyota is brilliant, i only ordered Tuesday afternoon this week and to have them here for friday is not bad going at all. So now i have some questions!, there bigger than i expected! The fronts as absolutely massive calipers etc etc, i now have my UK 17" wheels (thanks to lambertpig, top guy) so i shouldnt have any problems with clearance etc. When fitting is there anything i need to be aware of when coverting from jspec to uk spec, i have all the fitting / shimming kits etc etc, 5.1 fluid?. I couldnt find a guide to this, but if anyone has one please let me know. Cheers, Simon
Nic
Hi Simon See Heckler's guide here: http://www.internetwork.org.uk/brakes/brakes.htm The only thing you will need to do is either trim the edge of or remove the dust shield behind the discs, so that the bigger discs can be fitted. Other than that they are a straight swap. cheers

colsoop
Copper grease, also put some on the pins that secure the brake pads, they can seize solid and are a PITA when that happens.
