Thread start date

I have a little suggestion to speed up navigation around the site:

It only consists of having the thread start date/time added to the thread title area, as I have such an old Mac, and not a particularly fast net connection, it would save me having to re-read some threads that I've already browsed (saving lots of time).

I don't know how many other people are still running 56k, but even my broadband seems to run very slow on this site, so maybe that addition may help people for relevance in searches too.

Its just an idea, as any reply automatically has its date/time stamped on it in the 'Forums' area. :)

why don't you just use the 'new posts' button??

I do use the new posts all the time, but the 'new post' could be be to a thread thats weeks old. Just having the date in the title area, would save having to re-read something I'd forgotten I'd already viewed. May sound a bit nuts, but its just an idea, cos I've noticed its available in forums on other sites. :)

New posts = new posts, you haven't read the new post, that's why it's new.

Changing the whole forum just because you use an out of date PC seems a little excessive.
