Window "stains" ?

Had the car a couple of months now and have noticed some sort of "rain mark" on the windows (all). Looks just like it had been left out in the rain and it has dried and left those small 1/4" roundish marks you get.

Except: last time I cleaned it I set to getting them off 100%, but no good

I tried:

Shampoo with sponge.

Shampoo with net covered sponge.

Glass cleaner with cloth.

Glass cleaner with net covered sponge.

White spirit on cloth.

Kitchen scouring pad (lightly & carefully)

Kitchen scouring pad (hard and frienzied)

Kitchen scouring pad with all of the above stuff.

Nothing - it's still there.

Somebody remarked that it may have been caused by "acid rain" being left on it.

I do know it was on a Jap forecourt for many months !

It's not a big problem, but now I have set my mind to sorting it it seems to be getting bigger !

Any sugestions ?

Cheers G

Thanks guys...

The glass cleaner was Autoglym, but T Cut for glass sounds interesting.

Never thought of using rouge although I spent months as a young jeweller polishing stuff with it - awfull stuff when used with a wheel as it gets up your nose, in your ears, everywhere.

If the above doesn't work I'll try to get some pics, am sure it will photograph in the right light.

Cheers

Sort of (depends on what polish is used) but there cover 100% of the glass.

I'm sure they are made by the rain, but as you can see above they don't come out.

Got lots of ideas now for the weekend...

Cheers

You can Buy T-Cut for glass now. Might be worth giving that a go?

Comes in a blue bottle, always works a treat for me leaving the glass silky smooth. I get the marks your on about too and i'm sure it clears them. Been a while since i've noticed them mind you.:)
