View Full Version : Transmission Light on dash

Just fitted new white dash kit, however although finally calibrated and working, one of the auto selection lights has gone?

Ive had it apart to investigate but the bulbs are really small and located behind a plastic shroud?

Has anyone changed these before? or is it a case of a new PCB complete on which they are mounted?

Any help appreciated

Sorry can't help ya with that, but where did you get your shifter it's class.

My D light doesnt work either , ive got used to it , no light oh i must be in drive then , was that the only shifter the place had or was there a choice and does it have a button for the o/d.

Dude & Balls. Got the shifter at Billing, pretty simple to fit and yes has O/D button all working........:flame Dev

My D light has gone too, seems like a common problem, I not that bothered about it.

The auto box illumination L,2,D,R are tiny bulbs. The colours are determined by the speedo facia.

I replaced mine (fiddly) with blue LED's.

If i managed to get tweezers or similar to them, is it just a pull out or do they twist?
Also would you happen to know what spec they are?

Cannot remember the spec but they are normal bayonet type. (Twist)

BUT you do have to take rather a lot of the back of the speedo apart to actually get to them. PITA
