Aircon Question

Can't see or hear that the switch makes any difference at all other than turning the light on. :(

 

I'm just checking the AC_Heater_System PDF to see which fuses and relays I need to check.

I hope it's not the compressor gone.

mine aircon compressor went it seized big time and snaped the fanbelt, check and see if the pully on the aircon compressor spins freely with the belt off, if it does then its ok and also if there is no grining sound coming from the compressor then i say its ok because its the bearings in the compressor that goes

feel sorry for you mate no air con in this weather how often should you need a regas ?

Yeah, the 7 hour drive yesterday was not that pleasant when the sun came out. ;)

 

Mine was regassed about 3 years ago so I suppose it could just need redoing then.

:p Just a few notes, need to run A/c regularly to prevent seals drying out, joints etc. the practice of re gassing without finding the leak will become illegal very soon so costs will soar.
