Just seen that Graeme Wight, a hillclimb racer of repute, is selling a nice 3 litre N/A. I have seen people asking how much power can you get from an N/A and what does it cost, well here's one answer :)

Yep, bin the EFI Technology ecu and stick a SAFC on, it'll be fine :)

How many miles could you expect to get out of that before it explodes?

Rebuild every 4/5 hours or so. About 600 BHP on F1 cams with its full rev limit? Bear in mind this was a HUGELY expensive engine when new, and they'd only lease them to you then.

I wonder if theoretically you could lighten/change up all the internals of the 2GE engine and get it to spin up to 14000rpm or so. £20million pounds worth of design later and you too could have 600+BHP.

4/5 hours? A propper engine gets rebuilt after each 1/4 mile run ;)
