Anyone heard of a faulty brake fluid cap?

Just had some servicing work done today, basically had the brake fluid changed and its now up to the max mark, it wasnt before, before it was around the min mark. Anyway opened the bonnet to find some of the brake fluid had pi$$ed out from under the cap, you could tell where it had come out from the back of the cap. The cap felt a bit loose, i was wondering whether it could be faulty?
Or could in be the fluid is too high, is there much movement in the brake fluid when driving or general sloshing about as would be expected?
Brakes feel as they where so no problems with them!

Update, seems fine now, i believe it was filled just too high, just below the max mark is the very max!
