Custom Centre Caps - can this be done?

Hi all,

Missing the centre caps on all of my wheels. Have no idea what they are but they're a fairly old design - pic attached.

I just wondered if it's possible to get a set custom made to fit, even if it's a piece of thin steel/alum to fit over the hole so it doesn't look weird.

I can measure dimensions later, but has anyone had this done or know of anyone that can? I would like to get this sorted pretty sharpish.

Thanks all ;)

Greg

West Midlands? I bet at one time you could have found an engineer in every street :)

Seriously, it shouldn't be difficult to find a small firm which will do a one-off. If all else fails, find a custom bike shop and ask them.

How about

I got some off Bromy, milled out of ally, they fit perfectly and have the Supra logo etched on them :) Photos if I get round to it tonight?

You can get ready made plastic centre caps in various sizes on fleabay and if you search the net. You can get ones with Toyota logos

EDIT: Here's an example of just the badge but if you look around on the net, you should find the cap:

Mine were crap plastic ones that fell off within weeks.

I got some ones made up locally, laser cut from mirror polished 2mm stainless including my initials made into a jap looking logo. Filled the gaps with gold acrylic resin, hey presto, naff but better than the original.

Your wheels are here :)

Hoorah, send me pictures if feasible :D

Thanks Ian. Is Bromy on the forum? :)

Yes he is, that's his user name, real name is Nick. Drop him a PM, his attendance here is sporadic but he does graze the site. If you get no joy I'll email him and get him to check his PMs :)

But then I've got old boxer shorts of mine acting as sound insulation in the rear wheel arches so I can't talk lol
