Changing seats???

I am putting my new leather seats in today and I have hit a problem. I have taken out the passenger side first, undone the 5 bolts and then tried to pull the seat out. It seem that there is a wire that is connected to the passenger seat.

It runs under the seat and enters near the seat belt coupling. As the passenger side isn't electric I expected not to find anything wired into it???

The seats are from a pre-facelift and my car is a facelift. Should there be any problems??

Paul, disconnect from your seats, and you will (should) find a plug under Lukes seats too.

Mine are Prefacelift seats and have that plug in them.

Good man!!

I have been a bit lazy and posted without having a good look at my new seats....... I just thought I'd take the passenger side out first as it would be easier!!

Well this thread hasn't done my post count any harm anyway.....:D

Ive just taken out my drivers seat as well. I also wondered what the cable was but when i realised it went to the seatbelt clip i realised it was the tensioner!

Oh i also need a drivers electric seat if anyones got 1?
