In the latest round of updates by Lee, there was an update done to the board whereas if a member was contacted by a moderator it showed up a status message like this:

http://www.envyperformance.com/images/gaz/verified.gif

I was thinking it maybe an idea to have one for authorised traders/hobbyists to show that they are officially recognised by the club. Once members get used to seeing them from traders it may help them recognise rogue traders?

Obviously the wording would need changed to suit.

Thoughts?

Best Regards,

Gaz.

One who was not official?

One who used to be ;) and wasn't best reliable while he was. :taped:

in case that didn't help - check out the dispute resolution forum for a BIG hint ;)

That is my point, all authorised traders, good or bad, would have it.

But can't see it being a disadvantage to anyone, so why not

I can think of several instances in the past of "rogue traders".

Good idea this Gaz ;)

Flagged up for mawby. No need, it was me who told Gaz to post it up here to see what others thought of the idea. :)

I haven't forgotten about this. Is it worth adding another message for PMs sent by non-club members just warning that they might be dodgy if they are trying to sell you something?

I've set up the traders message;

A U T H O R I S E D T R A D E R
This message was sent by an authorised trader of the The mkiv Supra Owners Club.

I didn't want to mention anything about being able to trust the contents of the PM as I know some of you traders are right dodgy geezers. (Especially Gaz) :)

Nice one Lee.

Are you going to save the world this afternoon too? :D

mawby

Actually I was going to take the afternoon off so the world saving will have to wait until another day. :)
