Following the 360 gaming thread on here, what games are people online on their PC's?... I've given up with WoW, got bored, enjoying C&C3, but fancy somethig more...
So what are you lot on?...
Still playing Battlefield 2, the odd bit of GTR2 and Live for Speed.
I've thought about the Battlefield series, is it PC intensive? And how hard is it to get into?...
It looks pretty and plays best on a high end system but coped OK on my last one at 2.8Ghz with a 7800GT, needs 2GB of RAM to run well though, gets you spawned quicker :)
Very easy to get into but highly addictive.
I'm on a Pentium (R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
2.99 GHz, 3.00 GB of RAM
With a 265mb 7600GT Graphics card, not the best PSU, but I should have that upgraded tomorrow, or the next day, 1x19" TFT and 1x17" TFT (I know that stretches the gfx)...
Any good?...

I know people who play with a lot worse :)
The graphics options are quite extensive so you can tune them a lot to find a nice balance, you might lose some distance in favour of better graphics or you might find it's fine with most things at a decent level.

Used to play BF2......alot!
Tend to play C&C, supreme commander, flatout etc with my mates over hamanchi now and again.
You can download F.E.A.R. combat for free for a FPS.
worms 2 looks ace online against other members, im going to buy it next week

Pretty much exactly my spec (except I've overclocked to 3.2, and only 2GB memory). Runs fine 1280x1024 with everything on "medium" and seemingly doesn't look all that different to things on "high". Some of the settings you could probably get away with on high but it might chug a bit with lots on the screen.
I used to be a BF2 addict its so much fun :d but now theres no room for my pc and desk had to make the computer room into a babys room so just got the piffless laptop here and my Xbox 360. Ooh forza 2 will be out soon thatl be a larf.

Anyone still play CSS these days ?
Play CSS, Everquest 2, Guild wars, BF 2142, Suprime Commander, GTR 2. Looking forward to quake wars.
I always play online on my pc if i can. As big a geek as i am WOW has got to be my favourite:d
But counterstrike, sniper elite, things like that really, usually end up playing after iv had a few beers so am rubbish at it but funny reading all the comments they post up
Warcraft 3 from time to time, Rise of Nations. Cannot play too much reasonable new games, because I cannot afford decent graphic card :p

C&C (any of them) are still awesome... but you cant beat a good FPS.
Oh and Dungeon Siege 2 for a bit but didn't venture into the WOW scene coz the other half would have spacked out with the time you have to invest in it :blink:
A bit of BF2 every now and again. I wouldn't mind playing some Joint Ops and AVP2 again sometime.

Not if you go on private servers mate, its similare to dungeon siges 2 (iv played it) but you van get to craxy levels level up loads in one day and do anything you want. I played the real WOW and got bored in a week or so, just takes too long.
Guild Wars is great, I have a spare account if you want to trial it out.
