Some good stuff, loving Gaz's photo has everything in it for me, tells the story perfectly. Oh and that bloke Supradoopa's think that must be the best one though :p

Poorly composed, landscape layout, not to mention the history behind it.
Looks like he has just poped out to the front of the house and taken a photo of the car ploned on the drive. Lebsteef(sp) was far better suited to the front cover imho.
if it helps, i felt it let it down with that front cover
I will be requesting high res from you all. Got a load on this weekend though so not just yet.

Right, unfortunately the Soop Dogg one under the bridge isn't going to cut it either, it's too under exposed to fix.
I know I'm not meant to do this and the rules do say the next highest votes will take the place but having seen the pics of this years calendar coming together, over the 12 month period it's starting to look really grey and moody so I'm going to pick the replacement.
Shame as it was a nice looking picture :)

Daman - it would be, and it's actually a really nice picture but as I said I'll have to pick one myself, if you look at all the winners as a whole, they are all grey, black and moody bar about 2 of them and it's really not looking great as an overall composition :(

Daman, I actually feel quite bad about it... I might change my mind.
There are only 3 pictures that aren't grey/dark or of grey/dark cars, and the 3 exceptions are all red!!
But, everyone complained that they didn't like it when I chose a shortlist so maybe I should just let it run and see what everyone thinks of the finished article. If general opinion is that it's not as good as in the past then I'll think again for 2009.
my other concern is that your pic looks very similar to Toms one that's already in there.
