Noisy evening- Silverstone GP

After a willy waving "your car is shit, mine is better" thread on the Porsche forum, they have decided to settle this on the track- July 17th, evening session, £139, deatils in the Goldtrack website.

I may do this myself, can't confirm yet as it's funds dependent (ie I need two new rear tyres to do a trackday).

So far:

1.BossCerbera- Cerbera 4.5

2.Adonai- Boxster 2.5

3.Peterpeter- Porsche GT3 mk1.

I should think this will have 40 places, being a noisey day it'll sell out fast. It's open pitlane btw.

£139 has a 98bd limit??

why are noisy days more expensive? do they have to bribe the local towns?

I've done one of the Goldtrack evening sessions, they're brilliant. Open pitlane, so you get as much track time if not more than a full day with sessions, and it's half the price!

yeah, just seen that, it's going to be the evening session by the looks of it, which is ok as mine is 74db.

I've done a couple of track days at Silverstone and I've yet to see anyone with a sound meter. It's not like castle combe where they check everyone before they go on.
