low level spoilers

Branners

Im looking around for a nice low level spoiler for my car. I despoilered it last year to be different and now every tom, dick and hairy mellon has done it so Im thinking about a low level spoiler.

Can people post links to ones they have seen?

I was thinking of an AbFlug but having checked the site Im not sure sure. I quite like the one on Michel Lanes car so if anybody had a link to pictures of that it may help.

Yep, Jamie had the AbFlug on his before his new wing and it looked nice, but I've never been keen on them.

Would it be wrong to suggest going back to Stock Branners? ;) As nice as they are, there's quite a few TRDs about - they seem to be taking over stock in frequency in numbers at the moment - and I don't know or haven't seen of any spoilers that sit lower other then that mentioned above. :)

They dont really work on a Supra imho.

Best I've seen is the Do Luck one, or the one Jamie had on his before he got his GT500 jobbie.

I spose you could be different and go with the Modellista designs one?

They do work very well , i used to have a supra stock spolier and there was hardly any downforce. When i put my veilside side skits on , the backend started lifting at 140-150liptons , it got abit scary , i looked everywhere for something that would keep the backend down , but also be aerodynamically stable at high speeds. Since my explosion has been fitted the backend is very stable on high speed runs, you can feel the back end get pushed down, iam sure it doesnt cause that much drag aswell.

I have a TRD spolier aswell , i interchange tailgates to give it a different look once every month , the TRD unit has no way near the downforce at 140 liptons but it looks better then the explosion unit. The explosion unit is a bitch to fit , you need a bodyshop else the fitment looks pretty poor.

Hi Michel,

I mistakenly thought yours was an AbFlug until I started looking in to things.

Do you have any pictures you can post up of your car with the Explosion on? (current connection wont let me in to the garage properly).

I would get a body shop to fit it anyway as I wouldnt stand a hope in hells chance of spraying it.

they were made for sweden as they thought the high stock one was unsafe in an accident , so toyota made this one just for them , so are like rocking horse shit to find .

my one came from a fella in germany , but he didnt want to post it to me , so peter 10654 from germany done the liaising for me
