Straight up please guys - yay or gay on my painted calipers with TRD decals:

Spark Plug cover with silver writing:

Be honest, I'm a man and I can take it. Was going to go for a darker blue for the calipers though, but think this looks OK, can't make up my mind. :)

Cheers,

Greg

Looks good to me, mate. I really need to paint mine now you can see 'em through the weels...

...if only I wasn't a lazy arse.

Took a fair old time though. Spent 5 hours today doing this lot - waiting an hour inbetween coats for paint to dry. At least it covers the dreaded peeling though! :)

Not sure about the plug cover but I like the calipers. Ive gone for a similar colour metallic for my brakes with yellow supra logos (but havent done them yet)

What sort of paint did you use?

Some two stage paint I got off fleabay mate.

Spark covers I'm thinking may look better Matt black or blue instead. :)

Lol thanks Jake. Indeed they are inferior in both size and quality to the UK specs and other variants of larger brakes, but in all honesty, compare them to a LOT of cars, even many of the sportier models and you'll find the calipers, despite being j-spec, are actually bigger than a lot of them - hence I thought I'd let this show. :)

As mentioned, appreciate your honesty bud. :)

Good old ebay :D

At least the spark cover is the easier piece to remove and paint if you do change your mind... I wasn't saying it looked sh#t but it doesn't really match the other bling under the bonnet. (Id say blue would look good - Thats the colour mine will go eventually)

Looks good, much better to have clean tidy calipers than old tired looking ones.

I need to do mine at some point, any links to the suitable paint? Is it an enamal based paint that can take the temperatures?

My only suggestion would be to not to use a TRD sticker/decal and go for something like "supra" or maybe even no logo, only a suggestion, still looks good. Just that people in 'the know' are always going to pipe up with 'those aren't trd... yada yada' although with some trd pads maybe it's acceptable ;)
