When my car was painted the doors were obviously taken off, now once it all back together the remote central locking has stopped working, the battery in the keyfob went dead so painter changed it. The keyfob still arms/dis-arms the alarm, but wont lock or unlock the doors..? Also the warning light telling you a door is open is on all the time, as main as the main big warning light in the middle of dash.

Any ideas how to fix this..?

Sounds like it could be a nicked wiring loom, there is a small section of loom that runs along the inside of the sill on both passenger side and drivers side.

Yeah was loom, found 2 wires cut down in the footwell, added some connectors, joined them back up and job done..!

Ok it all works now, but car still thinks one of the doors is open. As warning light will not go out. Any ideas what to check and how to sort it.

Check the door pin switch, they are tiny little wires running up to them, and they do snap rather easy.. I seem to remember torx nut and just one bolt..

Yep took them off and checked, pin connectors and wires all seem fine.

Hmm, check the colour of the wire at the door pin side... and then trace it along the sill and check it. One little trick I've used in the past although don't go too crazy checking is to attach a pin to a multimeter probe and carefully pierce through the sheath and check that the signal is going all the way down the loom.... The door pins should pull down to ground, so put the multimeter on earth and check for continuity...
