Glosphil
After fitting my discs and pads tonight, and cleaning them with brake cleaner etc braking is much better. One extra thing I notice is if I brake hard, ABS is much more pronounced. This leads me to wonder how does it work, and where are the sensors? did cleaning make them work better? Thanks

RobSheffield
I would say that the new discs and pads would make the initial brake force stronger, so that when you brake and ABS activates, its a stronger, more noticable effect
Glosphil
That sounds a reasonable assumption Rob Cheers dude.
