Basically when you put the key into start the car the light is on continously until you start it then dissapears. (as expected with most cars i guess)

But it now comes on sometimes while I am driving and then stays on. When I shutdown and restart it dissapears...

sounds like the active spoiler ecu

That, or the speed sensor code 42 (my old favourite!). May have dislodged the speed converter behind the dash.

Glasgow_bhoy: Check the error codes as described in this forum. It's really easy to do, and just takes a few seconds. When you turn the ignition key, make sure the immobiliser is off (i.e. car is NOT immobilised), otherwise the warning light might not illuminate at all.

I stupidly did the cd fitting without disconnecting the battery and now get the airbag light on constant, is there anyway to reset it?

Mine was like this once I replaced the bulb that the dealer took out when he did the speedo conversion.

Try this, post 2:

Cheers Stevie,

Yeah it is my car in my avatar. Must admit I'm pretty pleased with it and most folk in the know always tell me how rare it is to see one in green. I think its got the class of black but with enough colour and depth to really show the curves of the Sup.

She's stock for the moment and i think she'll be staying that way till I can afford a nice kit a full respray and a full smoothing job done on her.

Stock Rocks!
