Guest Kazimodo
did a doughnut last weekend.smashed rear quarter panel, spoiler and bumper.insurance are saying its gonna cost £2000 plus to get it repaired? and want to srap the car. other than that the car is great and i dont think it would be reasonable for them to do that.i have got an independant broker who has been to see the car and thinks it would be worth having the work done having said that it may be better for me to do the work myself rather than pay excess on insurence next year hope to sort it out in the next week lol kaz. chilly
Please tell me you weren't insured with Sky? I've got an agreed value on mine as i dare say quite alot of members have. If i write mine off I bet I dont get back the agreed value!! Unless anyone can correct me?
JamesG
If i write mine off I bet I dont get back the agreed value!! If something happened to mine, I'd expect to get the agreed value back from the insurance company. That's what the additional premium is for. It doesn't matter whether or not it's a fair value for the car.
