Feeling the need for some proper tunes for my belove supe-has anybody done a sub enclosure that kicks ass in there car yet? limited space-might have to loose them pointless backseats!!
I've got a 10 ina small purpose built box just behind the seat............ still leaves a bit of room , and the back seats
....... but I think ya lookin 4 a lil more
IMO ^if the seats are no use to ya ........ rip em out and go for a monster custom build.........
I fancy a bit of that myself , but do use the rear seats now & again...............
I'd be interested to hear how ya get on........
Yes, glad to hear someone else wanting kick-ass bass. Later in the year I'll be working on what I call my "panoramic sound wall" that will replace the rear seats.

My rear seats have been used once for passengers and most of the time just get used as bungit space so i was thinking if i build a box upto the same height as the boot floor i would still have some usable space and be able to have proper tunes!
i`d be interested in the panoramic sound wall idea though Ash-come on share those ideas!!
I remember back in my Beetle days doing a conversion that allowed you to fold the back seats down to reveal a pair of 12" speakers etc...
Could you do that with the Supe if not worried about boot space ...
Sounds like a little project for next summer.
I also want to convert my front passanger seat, so i call pull up the centre of it to reveal my NOS al la Fast adn Furious.

I have done quite a few installs for different cars in the past including 2 bugs! the only problem with putting subs behind the rear seats of a supe is down to space again and depending on what subs i choose will they have enough airspace to sound right?
Then comes the enclosure design-what shape/design is gonna work in the boot of a supe??
